About the Author

The author is a woman shaped by faith, refined through
struggle, and ultimately transformed by a deeply personal return to God. Born
and raised in South Florida within a Christian household, her early life was
immersed in church culture. From a young age, she was actively involved in
ministry—singing, leading worship, preaching, mentoring youth, and serving
faithfully in multiple capacities. To those around her, her life reflected
strong devotion. Yet beneath the surface, she would later come to recognize that
her connection to God, while sincere, lacked true intimacy and reverence.

Her journey has been marked by an ongoing search for
belonging. Wrestling with rejection and the pain of church hurt, she spent
years moving from one congregation to another, hoping to find a place to call
home. Each disappointment left its mark, yet never fully extinguished her
belief in God. Even in her lowest seasons, she continued to reach for Him,
holding onto the quiet assurance of His presence. Some of her most treasured
memories are simple, sacred moments—worshiping alone in her car, sensing that
she was never truly alone.

In 2005, her life took a subtle but significant turn.
Without fully realizing it, she drifted away from the closeness she once had
with God. Though she never lost her belief, her relationship with Him became
distant, no longer a central priority. Years passed as she navigated life,
marriage, and motherhood, carrying both her faith and her unanswered longings.

Nearly two decades later, in a powerful and unexpected way,
she experienced a spiritual awakening that changed everything. What followed
was not just a return, but a transformation. Through consistent prayer and a
commitment to radical obedience, she encountered God in a way she never had
before—deep, personal, and undeniable.

Now in her forties, she lives with renewed purpose and
conviction. Her journey back to God has become the foundation for her writing,
including the creation of a prayer journal designed to guide others into deeper
